Foreclosure Homes in Miami
Posted on February 7th, 2009 2 commentsWell I was looking for a property for my dad to buy and I notice prices are expensive in certain areas. The area of interest for my dad is South Beach from 20th street down. I went with a realtor to see what I can find on a foreclosed property between the prices of 350,000 to about 600,000. The price of a property that is not in foreclosure can run up from 900,000 and up, so to find a cheap property in South Beach is like finding a needle in a hay stack. The closet I got to a property on a good deal was a house on North Bay Road on 20th (by Alton rd) and the price for that was 590,000. It had 4 bedrooms and 3 baths the Property itself was big with a 2,474 sq ft living space, but remember we are talking about a property in foreclosure the original price of the property in 2007 was 1,037,000. I told myself well thats a great offer half of the price and still being able to negotiate to make it ,maybe 560,000. Well seeing that this property was the cheapest home in South Beach as a foreclosed property it only lasted in the market for about a week.

After having no luck in South Beach I checked up further north on Alton and I got to see a beautiful property for 499,000. The price was reduced by about 100,000 and the home was in great condition except for the kitchen, but the good thing about that was it had an open kitchen so making it nicer your also able to expand it. The home was 1.669 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Then the last property I saw was one on 47th court on Alton, a nice looking house being remodeled and with 4 bedroom 3 bathrooms the house is 2,100 sq ft sitting on 1/4 acre for the price of 569,000 and as well to be negotiated with the owner of the property maybe there can be a chance of the home being 30,000 less.

Phelps Being Let Off Easy…
Posted on February 6th, 2009 4 commentsWell it’s finally out there that Michael Phelps has only been suspended for three months and with some of his sponsors like Kellogg’s company to cut away and would not want to renew a contract with him.

Michael Phelps has apologized many times and knows that he has to work his way up to get the same respect from the midia. Well I was looking and he is pretty luck that he didnt lose 100% of the different endorsements. I do hope that Phelps can get back on his feet and start over on a new begining. I also think what saved Michael was the fact that he won 8 gold medals in the olympics and that he has many of the younger kids looking up to him.

Is Phelps going to lose everything?!
Posted on February 5th, 2009 6 commentsI was watching the news and I saw that Michael Phelps might just lose everything he has, from his medals to the companies that sponsor him. I was reading into it further and a lot of the details that were said and I feel that a lot of people are against him I feel that he knows what he did wrong , but for something like smoking a bit of pot I feel that the media has crashed hard on him. I would understand if it were a drug to enhance his performance, but to go overboard and take everything that he has gained because of something that many people use day to day and even other famous people have used and have not got into major trouble for smoking pot than why should Phelps go down without a say in anything? I think people should give it more thought; they should do some other type of punishment which does not require such harsh results.

What do you think should happen to Michael Phelps?
