• Foreclosure Homes in Miami

Well I was looking for a property for my dad to buy and I notice prices are expensive in certain areas. The area of interest for my dad is South Beach from 20th street down. I went with a realtor to see what I can find on a foreclosed property between the prices of 350,000 to about 600,000. The price of a property that is not in foreclosure can run up from 900,000 and up, so to find a cheap property in South Beach is like finding a needle in a hay stack. The closet I got to a property on a good deal was a house on North Bay Road on 20th (by Alton rd) and the price for that was 590,000. It had 4 bedrooms and 3 baths the Property itself was big with a 2,474 sq ft living space, but remember we are talking about a property in foreclosure the original price of the property in 2007 was 1,037,000. I told myself well thats a great offer half of the price and still being able to negotiate to make it ,maybe 560,000. Well seeing that this property was the cheapest home in South Beach as a foreclosed property it only lasted in the market for about a week.

    Foreclosure

After having no luck in South Beach I checked up further north on Alton and I got to see a beautiful property for 499,000. The price was reduced by about 100,000 and the home was in great condition except for the kitchen, but the good thing about that was it had an open kitchen so making it nicer your also able to expand it. The home was 1.669 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Then the last property I saw was one on 47th court on Alton, a nice looking house being remodeled and with 4 bedroom 3 bathrooms the house is 2,100 sq ft sitting on 1/4 acre for the price of 569,000 and as well to be negotiated with the owner of the property maybe there can be a chance of the home being 30,000 less.

    1. That is very true prices in South Beach are more expensive than most areas but you can find a deal it just depends on how much you are willing to spend. There are better deals once you go further North of the 40’s and away from the water.
